Aero IPTV ("Aero", "the app") is a media player for macOS. This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. The short version: Aero collects nothing about you.

Data we collect

None. Aero has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party telemetry. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.

Data stored on your device

To work, Aero saves the following locally on your Mac only: the playlist source you add (a URL or file reference), cached playlist and program-guide (EPG) data for fast launch, your favourites, and your last-watched channel. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. Removing the app removes this data.

Network connections

Aero connects only to the playlist and EPG sources you provide, and to the media streams within them, in order to play them. Aero does not route your activity through our servers — we operate none. We have no way of seeing what you watch.

Content

Aero does not host, provide, or supply any channels, streams, or content. You supply your own playlist from a provider you subscribe to, and you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the law in your region.

Children

Aero is a general-audience media player and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
