Aero is a clean, lightweight player for the M3U playlists and XMLTV guide you already own, built for a Mac on the big screen.

Getting started

1. Add a playlist
Open Aero and add your M3U/M3U8 playlist by URL or local file. Aero ships empty — it has no built-in channels.
2. (Optional) Add a guide
Point Aero at your XMLTV EPG URL to see now & next and the program guide.
3. Watch
Pick a channel and play. Aero remembers your favourites and last channel.

Common questions

Where do I get a playlist?
From an IPTV service you subscribe to. Aero does not provide channels or playlists and is not affiliated with any provider.
A channel won't play.
Most playback issues are with the stream or your provider, not Aero. Confirm the same stream plays in VLC. Check your playlist URL is current.
What formats are supported?
Aero uses VLC's engine, so it handles a wide range of stream and codec formats, including HLS and MPEG-TS.
