Aero is a clean, lightweight player for the M3U playlists and XMLTV guide you already own, built for a Mac on the big screen.
Getting started
- 1. Add a playlist
- Open Aero and add your M3U/M3U8 playlist by URL or local file. Aero ships empty — it has no built-in channels.
- 2. (Optional) Add a guide
- Point Aero at your XMLTV EPG URL to see now & next and the program guide.
- 3. Watch
- Pick a channel and play. Aero remembers your favourites and last channel.
Common questions
- Where do I get a playlist?
- From an IPTV service you subscribe to. Aero does not provide channels or playlists and is not affiliated with any provider.
- A channel won't play.
- Most playback issues are with the stream or your provider, not Aero. Confirm the same stream plays in VLC. Check your playlist URL is current.
- What formats are supported?
- Aero uses VLC's engine, so it handles a wide range of stream and codec formats, including HLS and MPEG-TS.
